Why BLOCKv Is an ICO You Are Looking For
There are lots of questions in this subreddit on what are the best ICOs in October, suggest decent ICOs, ICOs to invest money etc. Like many other guys I also do my own research, look for different pros and cons of different projects and their ICOs and try to find something really decent. And as for now the most interesting ICO for me is the BLOCKv ICO* (https://blockv.io/).
In a nutshell this project creates tech. for creation and interaction with digital goods. Digital goods in the context of BLOCKv are small simple apps which have different qualities and which are represented in form of different objects (tickets, cards, bottles, figures etc.).
Ok, moving to their ICO here is what I think:

they already have a working product (vAtomic). It is not an MVP, prototype or just an idea, it is a working product. When many projects, for example when EOS started its ICO they had only an idea and a website. For me it is very important that a startup already has something to show when it starts the funding campaign.

BLOCKv has a strong team. Their CEO is Reeve Collins a CEO and co-founder at Tether. Also Craig Sellars is on the board (as a blockchain architect). He is a former CTO of Bitfinex (2015 - 2016), also worked at Tether and Omni Foundation. Their advisors are Brock Pierce, Walter Kortschak, Peter Diamandis etc.

BLOCKv won the d10e Conference Pitch Competition in September 2017. They were better than 26 other participants. The competition was judged Blockchain Investors Consortium (BIC).

the ICO is arranged by the Element Group. They are like a quality mark for an ICO. For instance they organised the Tierion ICO.

BLOCKv has a small cap - only 20 millions at the main sale and 20 millions at the pre-sale.

they have a really unique project. Just watch their videos and you will understand that nobody is doing something like BLOCKv at the moment.
Now, what I think on cons.

first, they have really huge amount of tokens. They cannot say the exact amount now (it will be known only after the ICO). However, the max amount of tokens is more than 6 billions. It is clear from their white paper that not all of these 6 billions will hit exchanges but nevertheless the number is huge.

there is no whitelist and for the ICO. At the same time there is no max amount that individual can invest. That means that they can reach their hard cap in several minutes after the beginning of the ICO. And huge amounts of tokens can be bought by whales. And at the same time they have KYC. I do not know if it is possible to make a smooth ICO within such conditions.

at the pre-sale lots of Tokens were sold with a discount. That means it will be hard to see a big x shortly after the ICO.
So, if you are interested, their ICO is on October 12th.
